TANJUNG BALAU FISHING VILLAGE
We will pick you up from your hotel lobby within Desaru Coast for a pleasant 15 mins drive to Tanjung Balau, a unique Fisherman Village and museum.
Located in a small fishing town, Tanjung Balau Museum is the perfect place to explore the beauty of the sea while learning more about its history. Several beautifully crafted traditional Kelantan & Trengganu fishing boats greet us at its entrance. This Fisherman Museum was built on a former fishing village and exhibits various artifacts of fishermen’s equipment and lifestyle. The only museum in Malaysia that displays the civilization of the traditional fishing community in Malaysia. Next, we head to the nearby boardwalk where your guide will point out the many interesting geological features and flora that make up the eastern shoreline of Johore.
You may stop for lunch at a local restaurant after the tour. We will allocate approximately one hour for lunch at your own expense before returning to your hotel. You may choose from the following restaurants within desaru : Bujang Floating Restaurant , Payung Restaurant , Nelayan Seafood by the Coast.
