DESARU COAST BIRDWATCHING

Desaru Coast Birdwatching invites you to discover the rich avian diversity of this scenic coastal region. Home to more than 100 recorded bird species, Desaru offers excellent opportunities to observe eagles, kingfishers, sunbirds, hornbills, and many other resident and migratory birds in their natural habitats. This peaceful experience is ideal for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone curious about the hidden wildlife of Desaru.

Accompanied by an experienced naturalist guide, you will explore a variety of ecosystems including coastal areas, forest edges, wetlands, and open landscapes that support a wide range of birdlife. Along the way, your guide will help identify species, explain bird behavior, and share insights into the ecological importance of these environments.

Bird activity is highest during the cooler hours of the morning and late afternoon, making these times perfect for observation. Designed to be educational, relaxed, and family-friendly, this birdwatching tour offers a rewarding way to connect with nature while enjoying the quiet beauty of Desaru Coast.

There are two daily birdwatching sessions to suit different preferences: a Morning Session at 7.30am, ideal for early risers and peak bird activity, and an Afternoon Session at 4.30pm, when the light softens and birds re-emerge before dusk. Guests may choose one session only at the time of reservation. Each booking is valid for either the morning or afternoon session, not both.
